4 Water Drinking Hacks

Drinking water is essential for maintaining good health, as it plays a crucial role in many bodily functions, from regulating body temperature and lubricating joints to removing waste products from the body. If you have a hard time drinking more water, here are 4 life hacks to help keep you on track.

01. Know how much you're drinking!

It's easy to misunderstand how much you're drinking throughout the day. If you have a favorite water bottle, the easiest way to know how much it contains is by using a food scale set to "fluid ounces" (make sure to zero out the scale so you're not accidentally including the weight of the bottle!) and measuring out your water. If you don't have a food scale, you can simply fill your bottle and pour it into a measuring cup to get the amount. Use this information to know how many full bottles to drink to hit your goals.

02. Know what you're drinking!

Filtered water may lose some of the mineral benefits so look into liquid additives that bring back those vital nutrients and electrolytes. Do your research on what your body needs and make sure to read the ingredient labels to make sure there's nothing questionable.
