Street Style: Fringe Benefits: 4 Ways To Incorporate Fringe Into Your Wardrobe

Kelley Daring

What is “street style”?

Street style is simply last season’s runway trends that have actually gained traction with real women. While some high-fashion, haute couture trends are completely unrealistic for 99.9% of women, others easily translate to accessible, wearable trends. Street styles are the trends us everyday women embrace and wear with fervor!

By far my favorite street style trend right now is fringe. Fringe can be fun and flirty, sophisticated and chic, boho or business. It’s easy to incorporate fringe into your everyday looks, whether you want to go bold with a fringed leather skirt or just add a touch with a fringed accessory.  Below I’ve highlighted some of the best ways to do it. It’s time to start enjoying some fringe benefits!

There's no better place to show your fun and flirty side than at the beach, pool side, or on the lake.  Go big with a fringed plunging neckline or simply add embellishment with a low-key cover up.

  • Love the fringe on jewelry and scarves. And the coverups are very cute. I prefer the boho look, to me it says casual and comfort. And living in SoCal, it’s all about the beaches.

  • Fringe is such a fun way to accessorize! I love the bikinis and one piece with fringe. And of course, the cover ups….why use a boring old towel? And my 11 year old daughter is crazy about fringe! When we go shoe shopping, she tries to find something acceptable with fringe on it….the only thing I’d allow are her boots with fringe. :)
